母から聞いた亡き祖父の話
もう40年前になるが、帝国ホテルのバイキングに祖父母と母で行った
そこでは見るからにお金持ちな奥様がわがまま言いたい放題で
「ソースがうんたら」「このワインの産地はかんたら」
うだうだ言った揚句、傍で見ていた祖父を上から下まで見て「ふふん」と笑ったらしい
「何、あの女」と文句を言おうとする母を祖母が止めていたら、祖父はホテルの人にはっきりと
「私たちは田舎者なので美味しいものを下さい」
すると母たちの席にローストビーフや生ハム、上等のワインなどが次々来た
先程の奥様が
「何よ！そんなものがあったの！？」
と怒るとホテルの人は笑顔で
「お客様からは料理はソースにいたるまでご指定がありましたのでそのようにいたしました。ですがこちらのお客様からは美味しいもの、とのことでしたので、失礼ながら私どもでおすすめの料理を選ばせていただきました」
「分からなければはっきり聞いた方がいい。背伸びしてもいいことない」
と母は言ったが、私はそれより自分を「田舎者」と言い切った祖父とホテルの人にGJ！と言いたい

庭に猫が降ってきたことあるけど、その瞬間、猫！！ってわかったけどな。
２階の屋根から飛び降りて、その後とことこ歩いて行っちゃったけど。

放り投げて落とされたならともかく、キャッチできる距離ってことは滑って落ちたっぽい。
それなら猫だって何かに捕まろうとするだろうし、視認もキャッチも可能じゃない？

彼女うちの猫も空から降ってきたらしい(笑)
空からってのは語弊があるけど、崖(土手？)から子猫が転がり落ちてきたらしい。
まだ目が見えてない生後数週間でミルクから育てた！私が朝学校行く前に5時6時起きでミルクあげてたの！
って言ってたが、8年経った今では彼女が妹みたいな扱いになってるわ。
多分猫に舐められ格下にみられてる(笑)
